Conditions

Conditions are typically medium to long lasting positive or negative mental or physical states that may provide bonuses or penalties to a character in certain situations.

Condition Properties

  • Active Effects: Effects that the subject experiences for the duration of the condition being active.
  • Checked Effects: Effects that the subject must continually check against while the condition is active.
    • Condition Check: The check you must make in order to determine how the condition progresses.
    • Outcomes: A list of the possible things that can occur based on the result of the check.
  • Upgrades To: Some conditions will upgrade to another condition if you gain them a second time while they are already active. This shows which condition to gain in these circumstances.
